The World Didn't Stop

The world did not stop:
People chose to love each other enough to stay home.
Friendships became stronger as humans became more creative in connecting.
Families ate dinner together.
Books and story time became entertainment.
Instead of vacations, kids ran through sprinklers and laughed.
Family bike rides replaced structured sports.
Laughter continued.
Love became stronger.

The world quit denying we are all connected as humans. We cared for each other.
Through hope, joy remained.
The world didn’t stop.
The world chose love.
The world chose to be to be selfless.
