There are moments in our lives that shape us - and there are times in which we need some extra support. This support can look like someone in our corner to help encourage, empower, and walk alongside us with whatever life throws our way. I believe counseling offers this space and allows people to process their deepest feelings and struggles, as well as celebrate their victories and accomplishments. But let’s face it: being vulnerable can be scary. That’s why, as your counselor, I make it my priority to create a nurturing and warm environment where you can process these moments. My goal is to continuously foster a safe space so that you can find healing and peace.

Throughout the counseling experience, you, as my client, can be assured that you will always have full control of the session. You will set the pace of which you would like to disclose your story. The therapeutic techniques I tend to use in sessions include person centered therapy, trauma informed interventions, strengths-based approach, wellness, and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). I am passionate in working with those who struggle with trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergent clients. I have experience working with clients of various ages, ranging from children to geriatric populations. I believe wholeheartedly that the relationship between the counselor and client is the most important factor in having a successful and effective therapy journey. You will always have autonomy in the treatment planning and goals in session.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and my dog Coco. I am very close to my family and friends and revel in making memories with them! As a San Antonio native, I enjoy trying new foods around the city. I love to travel in my spare time and enjoy wellness!
